Chris Rock jokes about it but it's true. I stepped out my balcony and there were european tourist beneath that started taking pictures of me with out asking or anything. The Kenyans on the street said nothing when they took their picture but I shouted down "HEY WHY YOU TAKING PICTURES OF ME?...Huh Did you ask me if you can take my picture." Hearing my english he was uncomfortable now and knew that he was wrong so he tried to make it "equal" by saying that i can take a picture of him. Which would not be equal at all. The day i show up in europe and see him on his porch relaxing with his family then maybe it would be equal.
No, buddy it'll never be equal or right. You know what, they used to it. Therefore, they probably think that you're a native of Kenya. I won't go too far in my analysis in order to not fall into a racial profile consideration regarding their attitude towards you and other Black people. That's what it is. I am furious about it. You may take him to jusice if there is a really one there. I think you should reply by taking his picture too. Promise me to do that next time if you get a chance to see himm again.
